100% cotton yarn or yarn of your choice
Size 7 knitting needles or needles to suit your yarn
Yarn needle for weaving in ends
Abbreviations Used:
K = knit
P = purl
Sl 1 = slip 1
K2tog = knit two together as one stitch
Psso = pass slipped stitch over
Yo = yarn over
Rep = repeat
Cast on 41 stitches
Rows 1-10: k1, (p1, k1) across
Row 11: (k1, p1) twice, k1, *yo, sl 1, k1, psso, k3,
K2tog, yo, k1*; rep from * to * to last 4 stitches, (p1, k1) twice
Rows 12, 14 & 16:
(k1, p1) twice, p33, (p1, k1) twice
Row 13: (k1, p1) twice, k2, *yo, sl 1, k1, psso, k1, k2tog,
Yo, k3*; rep from * to *, ending last repeat k2, (p1, k1) twice
