Fold in half vertically and sew along back seam. Use white yarn to weave in and out on the bottom; pull tightly to gather and finish off. Weave white yarn in an out on top; pull tightly to gather. Tie a tight knot then make a hanging loop out of any remaining yarn. Alternately, you can crochet a hanging loop. Sometimes I like the simple Japanese style “tie a knot in it and call it a hanger” method, as shown in the blue and white sample. Dawn crocheted her hanging loop and it looks fantastic! :o) |
